RENTAL INFORMATION

Strawberry Recreation Center is the ideal location for large or small gatherings. Nestled in a quiet, waterfront community between Mill Valley and Tiburon, it has been the site of beautiful wedding receptions and successful business meetings, club functions, birthday parties, banquets, fund-raisers, and dances.

Convenient Location
Only 15 miles north of San Francisco and less than 1 mile from Highway 101, the Center offers a variety of facilities within easy access of neighboring cities and counties. Free parking is available.

Attractive Setting
The landscaped grounds and various patios adjourning the meeting rooms add a garden atmosphere to any event. The well-maintained fields, pool and gymnasium provide an attractive and functional setting for that special event or athletic competition.

COMMUNITY ROOMS

Reception Hall
Designed for social and athletic events, this large second floor room is well-suited for dances, receptions, bridge groups, fund-raising, festivals and craft fairs. The hardwood floor, redwood paneling, high ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and deck overlooking the playing fields create a beautiful setting for many events.
Capacity: 265 Seated, 560 Assembled Kitchen: Adjoining kitchen with commercial size refrigerator and stove. Furnishings: 200 folding chairs, 25 8-foot by 30-inch tables. Other: Raised stage, piano and PA system.

Barn
This light and airy ground level room is suitable for smaller groups. It is ideal for pre-school birthday parties.
Capacity: 54 Seated, 64 Assembled
Furnishings: 10 pre-school chairs, 40 regular chairs, 2 half-hight semi-circular tables, 2 regular 4'x8' tables,
sink, and small refridgerator.
Available 4 to 11:00 p.m. weekdays and all day weekends.

Stephen Kaufmann Loft
The Loft is appropriate for small meetings and functions. High ceiling, large windows and adjacent patio add to its attractiveness.
Capacity: 50 Seated, 61 Assembled.
Furnishing: 40 regular chairs, sink and counter area.
Available all day weekdays and weekends.

ATHLETIC FACILITIES

Gymnasium
The gymnasium is available for sports rental such as basketball or volleyball.

Swimming Pool
The 25-yard pool includes a wading pool for tots, a sliding board and a spa. Used primarily by resident and non-resident members, the pool is available for rental use during unscheduled hours. The facility has a large landscaped patio and adjoining dressing rooms with lockers. It is a popular site for children's birthday parties.

Playing Fields
The fields are available by the hour for individuals and groups and are ideal for company picnics and family reunions. Field activities include softball, soccer, and other outdoor games.

Tennis Courts
Four tennis courts, lighted for evening play.

RENTAL INFORMATION

The Center's facilities are available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees vary depending on the space required and type of activity. A refundable security deposit is required.

Renters do their own set-up and takedown and must follow specific clean-up procedures. Users are free to choose their own caterer. Reservations can be made one year in advance.
