Strawberry Recreation Policies
- All activities, dates and fees are subject to change.
- Age level indicates the participant must be that age by the first day of class. (SRD reserves the right to ask for proof of age for any class with an age restriction.)
- Participants may not make-up classes which have been missed. Class make-ups will be made due to SRD cancellations only.
- When registering, if the class is full, your name will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified by phone. If a space opens or a new class is created, you will be notified. If wait listed, do not attend the first class if you have not been notified to do so.
- Programs not meeting minimum registration may be cancelled. A refund will be provided.
- Returned checks will incur a $25 service charge.
- To ensure your child’s safety, pick-up students promptly at the end of his/her class or program.
- All classes will meet indoors when experiencing inclement weather.
- Sports and outdoor classes have indoor curriculum plans.

Americans with Disabilities Act
Strawberry Recreation District does not discriminate against any individual with a disability. Upon request, SRD publications, programs and activities will be made available in an alternate format to persons with disabilities.
SERVICE DOG ACCESS
Service dogs are permitted on SRD property.
Service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual’s disability.
A service animal must be under the control of its handler. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks.
Service dogs that reside in Marin, should be licensed with Marin Humane Society. MHS certified dogs are issued identifying tags. Owners living outside Marin should have equivalent registration from their county or city government agency. Emotional support and therapy dogs do not qualify for an SRD exemption. Thank you for your adherence to this policy.

SRD Code of Conduct
For the enjoyment and safety of everyone, Strawberry Recreation District expects all participants to treat the people and facilities connected to SRD with respect and abide by all rules and direction from the SRD staff. Strawberry Recreation District reserves the right to refuse service or passes to anyone for failure to abide by these standards. Privileges, including passes, may be revoked at any time by authorized personnel.
SRD uses 24-hour video surveillance throughout the facility, for the security and safety of all patrons and staff.

How To Register for Passes & Programs
Please visit our RecDesk website to register for all classes, passes and camp programs.
- Full Payment of Class Fees VISA/MC/AMEX online.
- Check (made out to SRD) or Cash in the SRD Main Office.
- Class registration remains on a first come first served basis.
- All activities, dates and fees are subject to change.
- Please register for classes early to avoid classes being canceled.
Refund Policy
- Programs, activities, memberships and events have refund/credit restrictions.
- Refund/Credit requests may be made by phone or in person during regular business hours, and at anytime by email.
- Patron requested refunds may incur a cancelation fee.
- If requested more than two weeks prior to the program start date, programs less than $90 will incur a $10 cancelation fee and programs $90 or more will incur a $25 cancelation fee.
- Program cancelations requested more than one week but less than two weeks prior to the program start date will receive a 50% refund.
- Program cancelations less than one week prior to the program start date are not eligible for refunds.
- Courses: Class/program/membership/event cancelation policies are included in the forms and waivers signed prior to registration. Please review these forms carefully before signing.
- Rental Policies
A RecDesk account, rental agreement, deposit and security guard payment (parties larger than 60) must be submitted to secure a room or party reservation.
- Full payment for rentals and parties are due at time of booking
- “Ongoing/Periodic Rental” rate: a Minimum of five (5) separate pre-paid bookings per year is needed to qualify.
SRD Rental Cancellation/Refund Policies*
All refunds stated below will incur a $25.00 processing fee. Rental fees and deposits paid for with a credit card are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee, which is non-refundable.
Rental fee cancellation schedule:
- All cancellations will receive a full deposit refund
- Three (3) months prior to the scheduled event date will receive a full refund
- Two (2) months prior to event date will receive a 60% refund
- One (1) month prior to event date will receive a 25% refund
- Less than one (1) month prior to event date will not receive a refund
*Check with office for details, some programs and memberships have different cancellation policies from those listed above.
All cancellations will receive a full deposit refund
