Play Club
Our Daily Afterschool Care
Play Club is our daily afterschool care run by SRD staff. Students have their choice of structured counselor-led activities, arts & crafts, board games, or counselor-guided free play with toys or sports equipment. Our staff picks up the kids from school and walks them across the street to SRD. TK and Kindergarten students have Play Club in the 1st floor classroom, 1st-5th grade students have Play Club in the gym. Play Club begins with a quiet period during which students can eat their snacks, do homework with counselor assistance, or work on quiet activities. Afterwards, our gym, first floor room, and outdoor fields open for play.

Hours: (M/T/Th/F) 2:35 – 5:00pm
(W) 1:45 – 5:00pm
Optional additional hour 5:00 – 6:00pm available with separate registration
Play Club Enrollment
You enroll in Play Club by day of the week. We operate our afterschool programs in 8-10-week sessions. If you enroll in “Play Club – Mondays,” then your child will be signed up for Play Club for every Monday during the session. You can pick whichever days of the week you need. Enrollment for a session typically opens 2-3 weeks before the first day of the session. We will email everybody giving advanced notice of enrollment dates and times.
If your child is enrolled in an afterschool enrichment class and you need additional care after the class ends or before the class begins, you can enroll in Play Club at a discounted rate. Simply pick the day of Play Club you need and select the appropriate fee type associated with the enrichment class.
Standard Play Club hours end at 5:00pm. If you need an extra hour of Play Club care from 5:00 – 6:00pm, you can enroll in the separate program titled “Play Club – Extra Hour.” Just like the standard Play Club enrollment, you can choose which days of the week you need the extra hour.
