Afterschool Programs Overview

Strawberry Recreation offers two types of afterschool programming, Play Club and Enrichment Classes, providing students and parents with the opportunity to choose what kind of afterschool care works best for them based on their individual needs and interests. SRD staff will pick up students from Strawberry Point Elementary School and walk them across the street to Strawberry Recreation and to their afterschool programs.

Play Club

Play Club is our daily afterschool care run by SRD staff. Play Club consists of structured activities, guided free-play, arts & crafts, board games, homework assistance, story-time, and the occasional special events such as bounce-houses or movies. Play Club is ideal for students wanting to play with friends outside of school and need extended care until as late as 6:00pm.

Enrichment Classes

Strawberry Recreation offers a variety of afterschool enrichment classes each day as an alternative afterschool care option. Classes typically last for about 1 hour after school and are taught by independent instructors partnering with SRD. Enrichment classes are ideal for students looking to pursue specific interests, develop/learn new skills, and have fun at SRD outside of Play Club.

Create an account for yourself AND for the child you are enrolling in a program.

Select Play Club & Enrichment Classes

Log In/Sign Up, Click Register, and select Play Club & Enrichment Classes from the list of registration options.

Select Your Programs

Find the enrichment classes and days of Play Club that you’re interested in and add them to your cart. Complete the check-out process from your shopping cart.
