Water Aerobics

Water Aerobics is an annual on-going program. Please check pool schedule page for closures. Class cancelations are sent through email – sign up for the water aerobics email list to receive notifications.

Water Aerobics Memberships

SRD offers Water Aerobics Memberships, designed for participants who attend classes regularly and prefer not to register each time. Memberships function like a punch card, with the option to purchase 10 or 20 classes in advance at a discounted rate of $12 per class (compared to the $15 drop-in rate). An add-on option for spa access is available with these memberships; please note that spa use is not included with class participation. Water Aerobics Memberships never expire, offering flexibility and long-term value. When you arrive for class, sign in at the check in desk with your first and last name.

How to Drop in for water aerobics

  1. Create an account and register online OR stop in the office before class to pay $15 with exact change, a card or check
  2. Walk over to the pool and sign in and the check in table
  3. Write your first name, last name and mark the column that says “drop in”
  4. Enter the water at the class start time and enjoy!

Shallow Water Aerobics

Shallow Water Aerobics is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00–1:55pm in lanes 1 and 2. Classes are led by our instructor, Rebecca, and feature a variety of exercises set to music to keep the workout engaging and upbeat. This light to intermediate intensity class is held in 3.5–5 feet of water, making it accessible for most fitness levels. Flotation belts are optional but not provided. Participants may drop in for $15 or use a Water Aerobics Membership.

Deep Water Aerobics

Deep Water Aerobics is offered on Fridays from 12:00–12:55pm in the dive well area. Led by instructor Rebecca, this class combines a variety of exercises with upbeat music for a fun and motivating workout. Designed as an intermediate intensity class, it is held in 9 feet of water and provides a full-body, low-impact fitness experience. Flotation belts are recommended for additional support but are not provided. Participants may drop in for $15 or use a Water Aerobics Membership for added savings and convenience.
