BRIDGE WITH PEGGY
Games, and Major Suits
Are you using today’s modern tools to reap the rewards of playing major suit contracts? This series of classes will enable you to do just that! Arriving at game in a major suit is one of the ideal places to play a bridge hand and earn bonus points – no matter whether it’s duplicate, rubber bridge, Chicago style or just social.
We all need help in reaching our goal of GAME in hearts or spades, and there are many ways to get us there. Tools such as Help-Suit Game Tries, the Drury Convention, Jacoby 2NT and Jordan are essential in playing today’s modern game. In the five classes you will play many hands to explore and illustrate these important concepts.
This class is designed for advanced beginner and intermediate players. Come meet your fellow bridge aficionados, learn together and have fun at the same time. You do not need a partner to participate. Who knows…you might even meet the partner of your dreams.

AMERICAN MAH JONGG
February 12 from 10 am – 12 pm

This is a BEGINNER’s class consisting of four, 2 hour sessions spread over a 4 week period. I find this is the most effective way to learn American Mah Jongg which is complicated and needs time to sink in! There is a STEEP learning curve; if you persevere, you will be rewarded!
Gather a group of 4 – 8 and register now to learn this exciting, challenging, and very social game. Prepare to take your friendships to the next level or create new and lasting friendships! It’s a wonderful way to challenge our brain, while playing with beautiful tiles!
The first class is critical and provides the foundation for the game. You will learn the tiles, card, and begin to understand the concept of the game and its protocols. The remaining sessions will focus on game play and assist in developing skill and strategy. My teaching style is very hands-on and auditory. You will soon be playing and having a great Mah Jongg experience!

ADULT BEGINNER SPANISH!
Beginner Level Class: Mondays, 10/21 – 11/18
Fees: $90
Time: 10 am – 11 am
Our beginner adult classes are designed for those who have little to no previous experience with learning the Spanish language. In this class, you will be introduced to basic Spanish conversation skills, gaining more fluency and comfort in speaking Spanish. While grammatical concepts will be covered, conversation is the primary focus of this course. This way, students receive the essential knowledge that can be applied immediately to their everyday life!
ADULT INTERMEDIATE SPANISH!
Intermediate Level Class
This intermediate course is conversation-driven for adults who already understand basic grammar concepts and have previous experience in learning Spanish. Conversations topics are drawn from the student’s work life, neighborhood, hobbies, etc. in order to add a practical element to their studies. Grammatical concepts are reviewed as well, though, conversation is the main focus of this course.
